WHAT’S HAPPENING: Just a quick announcement that Chickenloop serves the most gigantic gyros we’ve seen, and yes, they’re succulent and superb! This hole-in-the-wall (quite literally) serves much more on their menu, and the cozy little bar is not to be underestimated! The pub ambience and friendly bartenders serve your favorite brews and cocktails until very late, thanks to owner and bar host William Bourget who’s usually behind the bar, keeping guests company. Truly a great new addition to the B-side of Boracay!

WHAT’S HAPPENING: Still Standing After 15’s 21st year Anniversary Party
WHEN: February 8 (Wednesday) from 9:30PM
Established 21 years ago, Cocomangas Shooter Bar’s infamous Still Standing After 15 has become an institution, with their 15 shooters signature. A right of passage of sorts, let’s celebrate this brilliant invention by John Munro, who first opened the legendary and homegrown Boracay establishment that was one of the first party bars in Boracay, and is now the oldest original running bar on the island (24 years and counting). An institution in its on right, a trip to Boracay is not complete without a trip to Cocomangas Shooter Bar.

A SHOUT OUT: Calling all FEMALE DANCERS between 17 to 25 years old looking for a future in dance performing arts!
Señor Juan Antonio De Los Reyes is offering the opportunity to learn the art of dancing traditional flamenco and a fusion of this form of dance for free, inclusive of free airfare to Boracay, free accommodations at his home studio, and free meals. For those who prefer to stay at a hotel, accommodations and meals are not covered. He wishes to train dancers to form a dance company/flamenco dance troupe, within a minimum period of one month, with three hour classes, six days a week. The dance troupe will perform at various Boracay resorts and establishments, with a professional talent fee for all dancers, per performance. Señor Juan will likewise provide the costumes, zapatos (dance shoes) and castañuelas (castanets). All he requires is talent in dance and discipline!
